The second of three short studies for snare drum and graphic score. This installment required the performer to place one stick in the centre of the drum and to strike it at varying heights with the other stick. The work looked at instructing the performer where on the stick and where on the drum to strike the stick in order to manipulate the timbre and tone. The work was part of APO principal percussion Eric Renick's student works project.
